Marriage, family, friendships, creative businesses, husband / wife teams, kids, communication, blah blah blah- it’s all hard. It’s all a balancing act.
We’ve walked through a whole lot together – us and them – after one another, with one another, apart from one another and they are still one real-life, practical, current couple I look to as a standard of marriage.
He’s a teacher. She’s a videographer. They make stay-at-home-momming, creative-business-running, church-volunteering, game-playing, walk-taking, food-loving decisions every day that make their friendship stronger and their family livelier. I’m sure sometimes, they feel out of whack like all of us, but I’m impressed by their choices to stick close rather than push away.
We love us some Marshley.
