I’ve talked about the Broadnax family a whole lot, so hopefully, by now you know the basics – Jon grew up at a camp where Jeff was the director and befriended young Jasmine (whom I’ve now stolen as one of my friends) and young Kyle (a few years later, young Kassidy). Jon actually ended up in Ohio to work as an intern under Jeff, so I blame him for this transplant.
But more than that, the Broadnax / Lutz family has come alongside us since our marriage and move in ways I can’t express. They’ve fed us, ushered us into the community, supported our jobs, helped us move, counseled us (family of counselors that they are haha), and have given us some intense 1:1 talks.
We are eternally grateful for all of them all the way down to the love-hate relationship Kaiden and Lana have to the point he tells people he has a sister (peep the tiny child who doesn’t belong).
