An Central New York Studio Session with The Fisher Family

Portraits

As I was planning a trip home to visit my family, I was mostly looking for an excuse to hang out in the beautiful Schoolhouse space by Erin Camp Photography. Almost a decade ago (what), I used to sit on the floor and play with those cute Camp kids and soak up the sun coming through the huge windows while I absorb the immense hilarity and wisdom of Erin. But it turned into an hour chatting and laughing with Brandon, Rachel, and their two incredibly sweet little girls. Nothing better.

Seeing your camp friends married with babies is so cool. I looked up to Rachel like a lot (still want to be like her when I grow up 🙃) and remember seeing her and Brandon together when I was an awkward pre-teen. As I grew up, I got to know her better and saw her genuine heart for the Lord, leadership, and youth and it encouraged me to want to pursue a relationship with Him on my own.

These two came to speak and share at BASIC when I was leading in college, they’ve ushered so many into worship, prayed over me and countless others, and Rachel with her brother, Ben, even sang at our wedding and it was one of the best parts of the day.

Getting to photograph people you feel connected to is more special than I can put into words, thank you guys for driving over and spending the afternoon with me – those girls are amazing and you’re two of my favorite humans.
